Trace2Trace is a business-to-business intelligence, investigation and monitoring service for regulators, enforcement and integrity teams, suppliers, payment companies and other professional organisations. These Terms form the general framework unless a separate written agreement, statement of work or NDA says otherwise.
1. About these Terms
These Terms apply when you ask JK IT GROUP LTD to provide Trace2Trace services, receive an investigation or report, or use material we deliver. A signed proposal, statement of work, order form, NDA or other written agreement may add to or replace parts of these Terms; if there is a conflict, the specifically agreed written terms take priority.
2. Who may use Trace2Trace
Trace2Trace is intended for organisations and professionals acting for legitimate business, regulatory, enforcement, integrity, compliance, research or investigative purposes. By instructing us, you confirm that you have authority to act for the organisation you represent and that the requested work is lawful in the places relevant to the assignment.
3. Scope of our services
Work may include domain and operator research, mapping related domains, identifying possible mirror or replacement sites, reviewing redirects and public technical signals, checking access from selected countries, reviewing named supplier feeds or widgets, monitoring changes over time and producing structured reports. The exact scope, countries, operators, time period, frequency and deliverables are agreed for each assignment.
4. What you send us
You may provide domains, operator names, lists of blocked or known sites, supplier names, countries to test, internal reference material or a specific investigation question. Please send only material you are authorised to share and tell us if it has special handling, confidentiality or retention requirements.
5. Nature of findings
Trace2Trace combines observations, technical signals, public information, relationship analysis and, where relevant, customer-provided material. A relationship, similarity, lead or network connection is an investigative finding, not automatically proof of common ownership, illegality or liability. Reports should be assessed together with their stated evidence, confidence and context.
6. Legal status and regulatory decisions
Whether a gambling service is legal, licensed, restricted or prohibited can depend on jurisdiction, date, product, licence scope and facts that may not be publicly available. Trace2Trace does not make binding regulatory decisions and our work is not legal advice. Blocking, licensing, enforcement, supplier action or financial action remains the responsibility of the relevant customer, authority or professional adviser.
7. Confidentiality and NDAs
We treat non-public project information as confidential and use it only to perform the agreed work, operate the service and meet legal or security obligations. We are happy to sign a reasonable NDA before sensitive material is shared. If a separate NDA is signed, its confidentiality provisions take priority where they conflict with this general clause.
8. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of instructions and material you provide, for deciding how our output is used, and for any action taken on the basis of a report. You must not ask us to obtain information unlawfully, bypass legal access controls without authority, impersonate another person, or use Trace2Trace to harass, threaten or target individuals.
9. Public and third-party sources
Investigations may use public websites, regulator notices, company and licence disclosures, DNS/RDAP/WHOIS information where available, certificate and hosting data, public archives, search results and other third-party technical or public sources. Those sources can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, blocked or changed without notice, and we cannot guarantee their continued availability.
10. Live websites, access tests and monitoring
Gambling websites change quickly. A site that opens, redirects, blocks or displays a supplier component during one test may behave differently later, from another network or in another country. Monitoring reduces that gap but does not create a guarantee that every new domain, change or outage will be detected immediately.
11. Delivery and cooperation
Delivery dates and response times are estimates unless expressly agreed as fixed deadlines. Some assignments depend on third-party systems, country-specific access, rate limits, anti-bot controls or data availability. We may ask you to clarify scope, provide a reference list or prioritise countries or operators so the work remains proportionate and useful.
12. Fees, invoices and cancellation
Fees, currency, payment schedule and any recurring monitoring period are agreed in the proposal or order. Unless otherwise agreed, completed work and committed third-party costs remain payable if an assignment is cancelled after work has started. We may pause new work or recurring monitoring where an invoice is materially overdue.
13. Intellectual property and permitted use
JK IT GROUP LTD retains ownership of the Trace2Trace platform, software, methods, templates, models, know-how and reusable components. Subject to payment and any agreed restrictions, you may use the reports and project-specific deliverables internally for the professional purpose for which they were supplied, and share them with advisers, authorities or counterparties where reasonably necessary and lawful.
14. Data protection and security
Each party must comply with applicable data-protection and confidentiality law. Depending on the assignment, JK IT GROUP LTD may act as an independent controller for its business administration and research activities, or as a processor for customer-provided personal data handled only on documented instructions. Project-specific processing, deletion or security requirements can be agreed in writing.
15. Limits of the service and liability
Trace2Trace is an investigative support service, not a guarantee of complete attribution, uninterrupted monitoring or a particular regulatory or commercial outcome. To the extent permitted by law, JK IT GROUP LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss caused by third-party source errors, or decisions made without reasonable independent review of the evidence. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Suspension and termination
We may refuse, pause or end work where the requested use appears unlawful, abusive, unsafe, outside the agreed scope, technically impracticable, or likely to breach third-party rights or our legal obligations. Either party may end ongoing services in accordance with the notice or minimum term stated in the relevant proposal; confidentiality, payment, IP and liability provisions survive where appropriate.
17. Governing law and disputes
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Before formal proceedings, the parties should first try in good faith to resolve any dispute through the normal project or commercial contacts.
18. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms when the service, law or our business arrangements change. The version shown on this page applies from its stated update date unless a different version has been incorporated into a signed agreement. Questions can be sent to info@trace2trace.com.
